A thousand years ago, the crusaders of Azunai crossed swords with the legions of Zaramoth in the final battle of a century-long rebellion. As the tyrannical god Zaramoth struck the final blow through Azunai’s trembling shield, the earth shook. In that moment, the forces of magic were unchained, and both armies were consumed in a brilliant cataclysm that stretched for leagues across the Plain of Tears. Only a scarred wasteland remained as final testament to the First Age of Man.
And for a millennium, magic has continued to spread to the farthest corners of the world, freely flowing to any who would command it. - More monsters and items: Players will encounter new monsters in the Aranoi Desert—including mummies and giant skeletons—and will find more powerful items, adding to the thousands already available in Dungeon Siege III.
- Reallocate Talent & Proficiency Points: Players can reallocate points spent in Proficiencies and Talents, enabling changes to character customization throughout the campaign.
- New Enchanting System: Transmuting items now gives players chances at gaining powerful new Vials that allow them to enhance their weapons and armor through the DLC’s new enchanting system.

Three more ARPGs
In short: - Dungeon Siege 1 is fun, at least for a while (everyone will tell you the same story: it was fun and there was a point where you leave it because it is very repetitive). It was groundbreaking at the time because of the lack of loading times so the exploration felt really epic, getting from forests to caves, to really underground crossing a lava bridge to outside again, and the Jeremy Soule music makes it double the epic. But there is a point where you just say "ok, enough". It's a bit less clickity than Torchlight, Titan Quest being the most similar game around. It lacks the expansion, as noticed. - Never played DS2 for too long. It's known as being a bit more RPG than a left mouse click feast. - DS3 is a more story driven take on the ARPG, which is a nice touch and I would have loved it if it were not for that camera that only allows to see 5 meters around you. And the controls that are a total mess. Obsidian, as usual, write very well, but I guess that they either did not care much about the controls and camera on PC or they did not have time to fix that. Which makes the game, sorry to say, quite unplayable.

Expansions NOT COMPATIBLE!
This series of games are great. I want to address WHY the expansions for 1 and 2 are missing for all the people who are upset about that........ Legends of arann and the expansion for DS 2 are NOT COMPATIBLE with the latest version of windows7 and 10. That is why they are NOT included in this purchase.... Makes sense if you ask me. Yes, it is unfortunate, but that is the reason they are not included. Other than that, its a great series of games like I said. :)

Good game, worth playing.
I've never played it before but it's a fun game, the atmosphere is good and somewhat gloomy, I'm just playing the first game and I'm really enjoying it, I hope the others are even better.

No multiplayer
This game can be played in multiplayer but the versions being sold have multiplayer turned off... because... they feel like it... They had a specific centralized network for matching but the thing is... you dont need any of that you can connect directly to another person by ip and host the game yourself. Its really annoying to see them disabling the button. If you search online theres a patch to fix this. Im surprise that Gog didn't solve this with their preservation program. Dungeon siege 3 is what i consideer my worst purchase in my whole gaming history since i was a kid. Its a completly different game. What i did enjoy in dungeon siege was the liberty to add siegelets the easy fight system the huge quantity of spells... the sthetics of each piece of equipment, the equipment sets, the music, the secrets and so on... On dungeon siege 3 theres nothing like that
