I continue to be surprised and amazed that the more I play this game - the more new things I discover.
Really didn't expect much out of this game since my favs are rpgs but this game has kept me captivated for over 3 weeks now. Just reached level 4 of 5 in Adventure mode today.
If you enjoy a good challenge then you should appreciate this game.

I was curious about Don't Starve but skeptical about how well it was executed. Now I know: it's an excellent game with some of the best rogue-like qualities and a huge amount of character.
The crafting system is well-thought out and fairly deep. There are a lot of surprises in terms of both crafting, item interaction, and creature interaction. It's challenging, rewarding, and fun. And the game has tons of charm that we rarely see from the big publishers.
It's a great game, one of my top 5 for the last few years.
I actually love this game. It has some nice atmosphere and also nice game mechanics with love to the detail.
For example the sanity meter. The longer you stay in dark areas or thelikes the sanity of your character drops. At the beginning you start to see strange things just at the edge of your view. And the further the sanity loweres the more of the strange figures you see and the detaileter their forms will be. This goes on until they stay all the time and may be fought.
I also have a question. I have bought the game through humble to get my steamkey. Is there any way to unlock it here, by entering the key or something similair?
i was waiting for so long for a great game like this one. i used to play UnReal World and still do. supported them for as much as i could...and will support this one from now on. perfect game if you like sandbox/survival games. don't judge this game by the screens. i did, and wasn't sure. but its after i started playing it, i realized how great this game is.

I am no hardcore gamer and I loved Terraria, but this one here is sooo much more basic in everyway: the steps from one tech to another are realy small. But then again you are proud of every achievement!
- I got a fireplace
- I fished a meal
- I built a stone wall! etc...
And then, when you think that survival it's that hard anymore you glich and -BANG- back to square one...
Sure, that can be kinda frustrating, but to be honest: when did you save your game last time in real life?! The save game option would help this game as it would take out the stress, fear and fun factor of this gaming gem. Thanks for this one, dear developers at Klei's.
