Bad decision
They changed this game so the requirements changed from Windows XP/7 to Windows 10. This ruins this version of the game. GOG version until recently used to work fine with older Windows.

Broken game. Not playable.
This game is broken. After playing for hours in the catacombs to save Mandeus or whatever his name is; I come up above the surface to fix my gear and to get new healing pots. But when I rentered the catacombs, through the grave yard, my character enters, yet my point of view doesn't switch to the catacombs, it stays above ground. Likewise, I started a new character and it too leaves the basment but my POV remains in the basement. I tired other remedies, run as admin switch to xp compatability to no avail. Simply I just uninstalled the game and will never attempt to play it again. I cannot recommend this game to anyone. It will frustrate you to know end losing all that time invested.

Please don't buy this game, its complete crap. I say that not because of the gameplay, thats fine and all. What makes this game crap is the fact that it is loaded with bugs that crash the game and keep you from progressing within the game itself. For instance the abby npc's spin in circles when movie cut scence starts freezing up the movie and after a few reloads to try again the game crashes. Game crashes when you try to use the animal transformation statues. Game crashes whenever it feels like crashing, which is about every 10-15 minutes. Would be a fun game if it were playable and you didnt have to switch spells to use a spell. Don't waste your money on this one... Shame on Gog for making I bugged to Hell game available.

I'd rather not!
Basically unplayable due to bugs that won't allow you to save at one point. And that's just the icing on the cake as far as bugs go. I understand that's because of modern OS, however... Two stars as it comes at a meagre price and it has the classic RPG feel.
