The mod is fully playable in English. For other supported languages, localization is partial: while all UI elements remain in English, lore documents and quest content are translated.
Belzebub, or Diablo I HD Mod, is a complex modification for the first installment of the Diablo series, which introduces a number of interesting improvements to the gameplay, a lot of new content and - most importantly - increased resolution.
Belzebub enriches the cult Diablo series with a real mass of intriguing content, presenting it all in HD resolution. The modification adds new locations, missions, spells, skills and monsters, 204 unique items, 170 crafting recipes, several new character classes (Warrior, Sorcerer, Rogue, Necromancer or Barbarian), 28 sets and 105 set items, four difficulty levels available in the single player mode, as well as a host of other gameplay improvements. The developer has also thought of a few additions in terms of interface, support for widescreen, and - as we have already mentioned - full integration with the new Windows systems. There is no denying that there is a lot to it, so every fan of the series, especially of the ‘one’, will undoubtedly not pass by this modification indifferently.

Sadly unfinished, unbalanced and weak
Looks good but it has no future as abandoned product and unfinished. Without multiplayer game option or any reset single player story is not comfortable. No chance with any bosses if you playing warior or barbarian.

I hope to play this someday (Redux)
EDITED: I don't know the minutia of mods or the ins and outs of programming...having said that, as far as one click mods, this isn't one of those. After much digging around, I discovered that the problem I was having would be resolved once I installed microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable; Now that I've done that, the mod works properly. I don't know if gog can include file/program in the mod's install files or if there's a way for it to detect that the file/program is missing and then suggest you download it... ORIGINAL: The mod doesn't seem to work. I've loaded it several times; "repaired" it multiple times, but it doesn't do anything beyond (in the gog galaxy app) grey out the play button, sync for a moment, grey out the play button and return to the play button to purple. On a plus side, it has gotten me to reinstall diablo and play it for a couple of hours. ACTUAL REVIEW: This is fantastic. The mod makes all these wonderful quality of life improvements on an old game that makes me remember why I spent countless hours playing and replaying this wonderful gem of the late 90s. If you've got the original diablo, you would be doing yourself a disservice by not installing this mod. It is surreal watching the town's citizens moving around Tristram. The small puzzle involving Wirt and his backstory to get into the Butcher's den was a nice touch.

Still a beta?
Having played for only a couple of hours I've found this modded version of Diablo to be nothing special so far, the added characters resemble re-skins of the original trio and character control is as twitchy as it ever was, I won't say it is bad, but it is rather...eh, take it or leave it. I'm going to give it some more time and see what this advertised added content is all about, I may change my review, for better or worse, after that.
