Deepest thanks for GOG bringing this game up to date! As a beginner this game is easy to learn and offers a lot to explore and experience in such a small area! The game design has everything it needs and nothing unnecessary, and it works wonderfully! The only thing bothering me is the fact that the hotkeys/item slots in the tool bar aren't working properly sometimes. For some reason, buttons 2 and 4 are not working while you're pressing shift leading to some unnecessary deaths when you're unable to use the heal potions while being murdered by a wave of monsters. Fortunately it's easy to avoid this by not pressing shift while using the item, but it's definitely a problem I'd like to see fixed.

Finally i played and beat this classic game and it is great 10h long game, so stay for a while and listen. It has great music, especially when you are in Tristram. Altho it has "clunky" moment, it doesn't cause big problems for me. But why 4 stars ? Because in game description used to say that game supports high resolution which is half true but it doesn't support wide screen resolutions (16:9 or 10). Also it is missing some of expansions but those were done by different developers.

"Thank goodness you've returned!" This game is a true gem, and one that should be included in every gamers library at some point. I still have my old CD, but my current rig doesn't have a disk drive, so getting it here was a real nobrainer. If you want slightly updated gameplay, and more modern resolutions, I'd suggest giving the mod Belzebub a go! Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go play a little Diablo...

My only problem other then there is no Hellfire Expansion is that this game is so addicting. I use to play the PlayStation port of this all the time back in 1997 or 1998. My first experiance with it was on a friends PC. This game was a huge part of my late childhood going into being a teenager.
