Actually pretty good.

This is, despite the general critical opinion, a mostly worthy sequel to Deus Ex. The problem is there's just not enough of it. It clocks in at maybe 15-20 hours of gameplay if you're lucky, and the atmosphere just isn't as dark and edgy as the original. That said, what there is is worth checking out. The choices you can make are as earth-shaking, the NPCs are arguably more gripping, and frankly I think Alex Denton is a better protagonist than JC Denton. (I'd certainly rather go bar-hopping with Alex. JC strikes me as having a large stick up his...never mind.) Given the GOG price is usually ridiculously low, check it out. You won't be disappointed with the bang for your buck.

Na pewno krótszy od jedynki

Gra ma dobry scenariusz ale nieziemsko krótszy niż to co zaserwowała jedynka. Ładna grafika ( ta sama technologia wsparła Thief III Deadly Shadows) Sprawdza sie w praniu. SI tutaj to tragedia w pięciu aktach. O ile w jedynce przeciwnicy również nie grzeszyli inteligencją tak tu to już debile nieziemscy. po otrzymaniu mnóstwa obrażeń biegają po planszy niczym kurczak bez głowy. Dobrze ze gra oferuje więcej ścieżek rozwiązywania problemów to mamy większą swobodę w pokonywaniu problemów w grze. Ograniczenie ilości wszczepów do 5 to chybiony pomysł dla gry będącej przecież RPG (na tyle mogli sobie pozwolić twórcy Chrome i to było wystarczające ) Jest jakaś zabawa w tej grze ale nie doścignęła rozmachem pierwszej odsłonie cyklu. Kto lubi klimaty Cyberpunk ta gra to miła chwilówka przed innymi większymi tytułami albo jakimś cudem ktoś nie grał w to a spodobała się grafika to warto te godziny spędzić z tym tytułem. Ma swój urok ale całości starcza na krótsze momenty obcowania z grą.

Undderrated

A hidden gem of the past and one that deserves to be played. It's full of detail and atmosphere that isn't seen in most modern games. Possibly my favorite Deus Ex game.

Decent game

A direct sequel to Deus Ex (2000), gameplay is fine but not that exciting, hard to play stealth as enemies are too sensitive. The graphics are better though.

Competent gameplay, tedious design

You know, when I started this game, I was confused by the hate it got. Sure, it's dumbed down from the previous installment, but then so was Skyrim and that one ended up being a fan favourite. It starts out promising: the setting is interesting, the game doesn't take too long until it throws you into action, the first hub area is decently laid out. All in all a good start. When you come to the second hub area the fun goes down the drain. - RPG progression comes to a near halt. - Mission sequences are easily broken. - Challenge goes right out the window as the game always offers you an easy solution for every problem. - The loading screens become ridiculous in numbers (clearly a console game problem). - Faction lines blur. Matter of fact, the previously moderately unsympathetic factions turn into a complete shitshow, each trying to outdo the other in being insufferable and cartoonishly evil. At some point I got so annoyed, I started kiling all the critical faction NPCs just to shut them up. But there's always more of them. The game is equal parts competent gameplay and utterly incoherrent game design. I'm so glad I'm done with this, it definitely overstayed its welcome.
