Good game, great offer
About the game there is not much to say really: It's a fun adventure, the puzzles are good (sometimes there is not enough guidance), good voice acting, the characters are well designed. The offer: Great. Adding the german language pack makes this a must-buy. More offers like this one please :)

Seems like a nice game... but fails.
Sometimes I stumble across a boring game, and this was it. If you like rich story, great dialogues, nice puzzles and so on - this is not the game for you. The gameplay also offers very little, and rarely awards the player. It has nice art, nice music and feel to it. It just fails with everything else.

Disappointing, More frustrating than fun
I really wanted to like this game. I love point and clicks but Deponia is far more frustrating than fun. The puzzles are ridiculous - half the time it's more trial and error of all the ingredients than any logical sense. So many times after completing one I'm just dumbfounded at how that was supposed to make any sense or be at all fun. I could go on and on about the lacking quality of the puzzles but.. oh the story. The story of Deponia is so simplistic and bland. In the first few minutes or pretty much from any description of the main character you'll know basically how the whole thing is going to go. It's not exciting, it's not original or very creative, it's not much of an adventure. And the humour is IMO extremely weak and in poor taste. The main character is a shallow, narcissistic jerk. Unless that's something you want to live, and you like viewing other people as tools or objects for your own means, and you like jokes about this being thrown at you over and over in slightly differing shades, it really is just a tiring experience. The art and music are decent but the game lags constantly (it's not my PC) and some of the sounds get repeated constantly and this happens over and over - really takes away any chance of immersion there. There are several screw-ups in the dialogue and text that show the lack of polish in the game. The overall fluidity was about non-existent. I really can't believe all the fanatic reviews about this game. It doesn't even come close to comparing to the classics like so many claim.
