W grze Dead Cells główny bohater, obiekt nieudanego eksperymentu alchemicznego, pragnie poznać tajemnicę rozległej, nieustannie zmieniającej się i zapewne również przeklętej wyspy. Ostatnią deską ratunku jest przejmowanie ciał, by iść dalej, odkrywać… i walczyć.

Zagraj w grę z gatunku „roguevania”, będącą mieszanką połączonego świata, rozgałęziających się ścieżek, odblokowywanych umiejętności i nieustannej groźby śmierci. Nie ma punktów kontrolnych. Jeśli nie pokonasz bossa w jednym podejściu, musisz spróbować ponownie. This game is truly remarkable as it feels like a polished and finished game even though its in early access. I have only had 2 glitches were my character got stuck and aside from the that the game plays extremely well. This is my first early access game and I have no regrets at all on purchasing this game. The controls are smooth and the game really has that one more time feeling to it. The game is fair although there are runs where you will have an easier time getting through due to having better weapons and skills. Overall, I really recommend getting this game.
This game started off just easy to get into and have fun with. It says souls-esque I think in the description but I wouldn't say that's true because I don't like the soul games but I like this roguelike.
The DLC is free after purchase, that's a huge win and you can tell the developers have a good idea of how to make a game that's focused on having fun and not anything like those anti-fun corporate controlled AAA games.
Finally, there's a native Linux support and it works perfectly. You can download this Native Linux version from Steam if you're a complete noob (Requires buying on Steam)
On GoG, download the .sh files and ready them with chmod +x filename.sh in the terminal
Then run the install with ./filename.sh
After that it's simple city, just hit next on the rest of the GoG installer that comes up and you can choose an install location.

I really love this game and have sunk 100+ hours into it. I keep coming back to it and even if others have loads of story, visually stunning 3D graphics, this game is easily one of the best.
It is almost perfectly balanced and each build has it's unique attack pattern and properties, so one does not easily get tired trying to beat it. At now four boss cells there is still plenty to discover for me.
Sound is excellent, paired with the great graphics, each play session is a joy and I no longer mind dying at all. It is FUN.
On par with or even above of Nethack, The Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077 and others.
Plus: it will probably run on that very old computer of yours, too ;)
game is almost 5/5, but these bait paths where you and it turns out that was bait and you read "DLC required". like wtf. separate game and these addition resources
The first time I played Dead Cells, I gave up after a few runs. It did not seem fun, it did not seem to progress well, and I died a lot quickly with seemingly no good path forward. I'm not a souls-like fan; I like a good challenge in my games, but not brutally difficult play for the sake of brutally difficult play.
However, a bit like Risk of Rain 1 and 2, once you do start to find things and build on the character permantently, then start to find secrets and details in the game, it becomes very fun. I'm enjoying it a lot, looking forward to getting all the way through and seeing what else comes up along the way.
This game is waiting for a review. Take the first shot!
