Daymare: 1998

I tried this and it was ok until I got to the zombies and had to shoot them several times in the head to kill them. The controls are clunky and the game just isn't fun when you have to play as angry for no reason little man number whatever. Run out of ammo? You may as well just die because for some reason there are no instructions on how the hell you combine an empty magazine with new ammo.

Fun and retro Indie game and it is not some EA or UbiSoft rip off. And was free :)

We all know this is Resident Evil 1 inspired, almost to a T in terms of locations and atmosphere, but it just doesn't work as well. Sure I had a bit of fun but most of the time I got annoyed with random spawns because why not. I do get that there are supposed to be surprises, but come on, you don't have to make them after evey key item you get. And let's not forget the most annoying thing you guys could've done, the Greek puzzle. That was the most annoying and frustrating thing to do. How many people who speak english know freakin Greek, like come on, that was simply a very poorly thought puzzle. At least put a damn paper with each letter how it's translated to latin alphabet. Overall it is a bit of fun, with accent on A BIT, and forgettable distraction.

It is a GREAT work done by a small INDIE study that deserves undoubtedly to be supported. You may have things to solve and polish, but in general we are facing a great game very entertaining and inspired by the 90's games. Recall that this study was the one that had the original idea of making a remake of Residen Evil 2 (whose videos can be found as "RESIDENT EVIL 2 REBORN"). Idea that Capcom later took. The game has an interesting story, excellent graphics, excellent optimization, innovative and more realistic gameplay. Despite not being a perfect game, I highly recommend it.
