Take control of a settlement of the first modern humans, guide them through the ages in their struggle for survival.
Dawn of Man is a survival/city-builder from the creators of Planetbase.
The game starts in the Stone Age, and takes you up to the Iron Age, spanning more than 10,000 years of human prehistory.
You will have to get your people to survive, expand and evolve, just like our ancestors, facing the challenges that the environment will throw at you.
Confront Mammoths, Woolly Rhinos, Ancient Bison, Megaloceros, Cave Lions and other species that roamed the earth at the time.
When winter comes, make sure to have enough non-perishable food and warm clothing in order to survive.
Construct fortifications and craft weapons, so you are ready for when the inevitable conflict comes.

Animals were a vital source of food and resources for ancient humans. Dawn of Man is a competent city building game set, as the name explains, during the dawn of mankind. Moving through the ages, the slow progress early on leaves a real sense of achievement, made possible thanks to a strong resource system and the way knowledge is gained, working with the rest of gameplay to create an enthralling gameplay loop. Sadly this does falter towards the end of any game, even becoming boring at times, but for the most part Dawn of Man is one city building game that fans of the type won't want to miss, despite any flaws it has.

Beautiful game
This is an amazing RTS game where decisions pay out in time. I think they can improve the environmental disasters, so you need to take that in mind while playing, but the evolution of the tribe is really nice.

Very good one
Perfect example how to make a small, affordable great game. All is in its place and if you are the fan of this genre you'll be very satified. Also it has a lot room for dlcs and new content, I hope they'll add some in the future.

Good title, but...
Good game, relaxed and plenty of full activities, something slow but it offer relaxing and some historical precision (I think!). Good graphics.
