A world before Diablo
It might be nostalgia talking, but this game preceeded Diablo and taught me what an RPG should be like. Before Diablo established what an RPG was meant to be, this game showed us what the genre COULD have been. I'd like to see a future where Darkstone set the standard instead of Diablo!

Interesting but to big for screen
Unable to access menus as they were off screen. No screen size config I could find.

Great coop game
One of the first Diablo-likes to use 3D graphics effectively. Have completed this game coop more times than I can remember, and loved every minute of it. Each time the main quests are selected randomly too. The levels are also randomly generated too. The dialogue is memorable, and I still find myself quoting the game characters. I have only two minor gripes, firstly, if you dont eat, you starve...so a lot of your inventory is taken up with fruits and breads etc. The other negative is that only the Adventurer class can fish, a pastime which makes the whole food thing more 'palatable' :)

great game of my childhood
amazing game with many interesting concepts ^^ not often can your adventurers die of old age or you can change your heroes halfway through the game

G13 makes this game worth revisiting
I loved this game in 2000. It was the diablo killer, but it needed a battle.net type way for multiplayer setup. Grab this again from gog and found the key setup lacking. My Logitech G13 solved that, and now the camera is a dream on the thumb stick. I haven't finished the factory quests yet, but there are a bunch of custom quest you can grab @ http://dsdb.it-taucher.at also. If you liked diablo 1 + 2, you like this.
