Cyberpunk 2077

From my early youth on, i loved the cyberpunk and shadowrun franchises, so i was absolutly hyped, like so many others. Despite the negative Press and shitstorm on surrounding it, i was having a blast - at first. My own experience was fine and the first few hours were bug free, surprisingly. The first 30 hours were great, granted i could see the obvious flaws, all the promises not kept, but what was there had me hooked. I was reading reports of bugs and glitches all around but i was save from them, somehow. That weirdly enough changed with every hotfix/patch, things got worse. IMO the game is now in the worst state for and i dont know why. is it long playtime, save file bloat? I dont know. On top of that, the first 30 hours are great, but with every 5-10 hours after that mark the issues start creeping in, and the facade falls apart unless u start a new run. There is no replayablity, the game is extremly linear, the rpg mechanics do not exist anymore, Gunplay is passable but simple. Clothing/Outfitting is meaningless and bad. Its either a stat chase, or has to be regarded completly My biggest issue being AI is absolutly horrible in every regard, from Car driving AI, to Police AI thats so abyssally bad that they just teleport behind you, and oneshot u on very hard, to enemy AI just freezing and doing nothing anymore. There are no consequences to most actions, especially since there is no faction system. U can go on murdersprees against one gang, massacring them on sight wherever i am, but in the end they are still amiable to me in later quests if helped once early on. Cyberware is meaningless and too little available, a lot of quests lack a proper resolution. it feels like the complete Act 3 is missing, all issues to rogue AIs just fall into nothingness... The cp2077 story would make a great book in its current form, but what i wanted was more interactiveness and gameplay The game just is not finished, only 40% of it exists, but those 40% are polished.

I, like everyone else, was on board the hype train because we had faith that CDPR would deliver a game that was just as good as the Witcher 3. However, they have failed miserably. This doesnt hold a candle to the Witcher 3. Cyberpunk 2077 only has one redeeming quality, which is the stories that you do for the side charaters such as Panam, everything else is laughably boring. 1- Combat is boring, the only way they have made the combat harder is to just make the enemies bullet sponges. 2- there are no cop chases as they just spawn behind you. 3- limited weapons. 4- the way armor is designed makes you have to choose clothing that makes you look like a clown instead of what you like to survive. 5- crafting and upgrading is impossibley expensive. 6- missions are almost all the same. 7- the life paths you choose mean nothing to the story. 8- the story is much shorter than i would have thought it would be. And I could go on. This game overpromised and was way underdeveloped. A huge blow to CDPR's reputation.

Rushed deveopment, cut content, buggy to an extreme and nowhere even close to the "next-gen, immersive, roleplaying experience" that we were being told we're getting for the past couple of years. All bugs aside, this game is mediocre at best and easily outplayed by games from the past. Stay away or get at a heavy discount for $20 or so, a year or two from now and don't hope for major improvements as this games problems go well beyond bugs and glitches - it is simply unfinished. Spent around 10 hours messing around the town and I'm not really happy with the content or, should I say, the lack of it. Haven't played much of the main story but, if it's exceptionall, that might be Cyberpunk's only reedeming quality. I would have refunded but my request was denied.

Game has no atmosphere, I cannot feel the story, or there is no a story at all. There is no music. I spent above 2 hours and I cannot feel it. Just boring for me.

This game is a blatant scam. Just look at the description on this page. "RPG"? This is an open world shooter with very little depth, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone wanting an RPG experience. "Utilize a wide arsenal of weapons". Yeah, actually most of the weapons I've found are just different paint schemes of the same 6 templates. There is no point to owning any of the vehicles. The one "race" you can do in the game is a scripted mission. In short, if you're looking for a good RPG to play, here are some of my recommendations: Fallout New Vegas (Branching paths to each quest, plenty of weapon variety, fun to mess with npcs) Elder Scrolls 4 and 5 (Not as deep as New Vegas, but each has a great immersive world with plenty of guilds to join and interesting locations to delve into) Wasteland 2 and 3 (Great turn based combat similar to Xcom, I think of this as an evolution of the original Fallout games) Deus Ex (Ion Storm did the Cyberpunk genre perfectly with this classic) Mass Effect Trilogy (THE REMASTER IS OUT, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?) Also, if you are looking for a more "immersive sim" style experience, check out Dishonored and Prey by Arkane Studios, and also Thief(The original and reboot are both great)
