Cyberpunk 2077

Does anyone else feel very disappointed by this release? I mean not just the bugs, those can be fixed although not an excuse for the poor state the game launched in, even on PC. I mean the cut content and lack of attention to detail, all the promised amazing things that were meant to blow out god damn minds. Cyberpunk 2077 as it is now, simply feels incomplete. It felt like I played a demo of something greater to come. Even so, it has a good core and some great quests but it could have been so much more. It has borrowed mechanics from many different games that managed to do those things much better than Cyberpunk. They may avenge this game to some extent in the future but as it launched it's not even half the things we were promised.

I think everyone knows by now how disappointing this game is. I had high expectations, but I wasn't one of those guys thinking that this game would be life changing, and they still managed to fuck it up. Story wise, a normal action game story, is actually excellent. I really liked it, start to finish. The side-quests are important for the possible endings as well which is cool. Talking about side-quests: They are really well made. They're not normal fetch quests, and they have some depth into them. Talking about depth: The biggest downfall of this game. You can go back and read all the CDPR higher-ups' interviews promising this or that. It's all a lie. The world just has things and there's not much that you can do with them. If you try to talk with the people on the streets you will ear one generic :generic: line and that's it. You receive all your quests through your phone, there are two joytoys in the whole world, the police is not bribable (and pretty badly programmed), the braindances are just for quest purposes, the body mods are just weapons and perks, etc. It leaves you a really beautiful world with clutter to fill in the gaps. You will only find the story and the quests in this game. There's not much more But wait, there's more! The bugs: It's no secret that this game is full of visual and sometimes breaking/crashing bugs (though the latter is less probable). Out of the blue, you T-Pose out of your vehicle multiple times. Phones, cigars and other grabbable items 99% of the times get stuck floating in the air. There are too many of them to mention. Good luck trying to run this game btw. Welcome to the 'But can it run CP77?' era Play the game but wait until March There were only 2 studios that had my pre-order confidence: Obsidian and CDPR. Now there's only Obsidian left.

fulll of bugs ,waste of money

- Ive beaten the game 3 times and played for over 180 hours - The story is ok but the rest of the game is unfinished. *Combat is bland and jenky. *Hacking is a complete waste of time and skill points (which was supposed to be the main part of this game) *Driving in this game makes me want to kms. *Constant Bugs that literally break the game and cause death or forced reload of a previous save. *Graphics are not tuned for anything but the absolute best PC. (On medium settings I get 40 fps with a 1080ti) I could go on for days. Stay away from this game until next year when it is actually completed.

I'll keep it short and sweet. PROS: * it looks and sounds good; * the main story is really nice for what I've seen; * character customization is honestly pretty great. CONS: * Bugs, bugs, bugs everywhere... not "Mass Effect: Andromeda bad", but too close to that for comfort; * it is clear that lots of content has been cut from the game, starting from the railway/metro system we've seen in the gameplay trailers; * driving cars feels absolutely horrible, there is no feeling of control; * the loot system is like from a looter-shooter like Borderlands, not a proper RPG. There is also no item owning system so you're rewarded by stealing everything from everyone, in every place you visit... exactly like a looter-shooter. * Police pop-in/pop-out on the streets, out of and into nowhere, as soon as you start being "mischievous" and regardless of how much stealthy you've tried to be. * The game was advertised with many complex romance chances... but as it stands we have four possible long-term relationships in the entire game. FOUR. Two for each gender, one straight and one gay. They basically don't give you a choice as to which NPC you should romance -- but hey, you can choose your pp on the character creation screen! Eight years after the first announcement, this feels like a punch in my stomach. I would have expected this from other developers but not CD Projekt Red.
