Cyberpunk 2077

Well game is buggy, but that's something everybody knows. I'm quite sure but buggs will be fixed at some point. Outside of that game is not so bad, but there are many games that did what it does better. Witcher 3 was better RPG, hell that game is not even RPG. More like action game with RPG elements and short linear story. GTA did ope world better, old Driver did driving better. That game is just lacking in besically every aspect. It's not tragic, it's just averge in every way. Bugs aren't this game biggest problems. It's a game build on hype and lies. Night City is dead city, it doesn't matter what player does, the city doesn't react in any way. You can go around killing gangs and nothing, no hit squad after you.... zero reaction. Police literally spawns in front of you , but you can just kill them or just drive away and all your wanted level is gone. Pathetic to say at least. And they can't drive cars so no, they won't chase you at all. Story is completelly linear, it might seems like your choices matters, but they don't. Game world won't react or change according to what you will choose. There are literally 3 quests that have some meaning, cause they unlock new cosmetic versions of the endings. Ah yes, endings. They are so bad. Even tough it seems like there are many, there aren't. There are 2 exacly same outcomes for all endings. And endings themselves are just reskins. It's literally ME3. Game have currently zero replay value. There is no different paths, different outcomes to explore and life paths doesn't matter outside of giving player different prolog. No NG+ either. If you beat it once it's done. You have seen everything. It's not a good game. 2.5/5

The more you look into it, the more you play it and the more you think about it, the more you realise that this game is all smoke and mirrors, a beautiful mirage that will never be what was marketed, what was promised. At the very least, the very least, this game could've had some basic open world mechanics and physics that were stablished almost 20 years ago, but it doesn't. Want to jump from a sports car going at 200mph? You will not be hurt! Stopped your vehicle in the middle of the road? Traffic completely stops, both ways! Basic water physics? No, you can't have that in the most hyped game ever!! The AI will never be fixed, large areas of the game that are completly empty, lacking, will never be fixed, critical cut content that is expected from games at this day and age will never be implemented. I made sure to play most of the meaningless, micro side-missions to at least feel I wasn't completly robbed by the most elaborate scam in video game history.{ By the way, games from 10 years ago or older managed to get factions, faction interactions & relations, choices and consequences better than this game. Gangs are scenery and you can't interact with them aside from combat.

I WANT to like the game and give it more chances but I just cannot anymore. To be honest even without the bugs the game feels extremely hollow and there aren't any choices or places to explore that my friends and I saw more fun in trying to break the game as badly as possible rather then doing other things that they assured were in the game but were either EXTREMELY underdelivered or completely absent from the game. Otherwise the music was amazing and the story was at least great.

From day one I encountered constant glitches, both game breaking and immersions breaking. I had so many dialogs not trigger and random weirdnesses happen that I found myself constantly reloading. I was concerned that any little dialog glitch or what not would break a quest chain and shut me out of stuff further in. After waiting for the next patch to come this month I finally decided to give up on Cyberpunk and refund it. Even with patches there are core game mechanics that will most likely never be implemented because they simply released far far too early. This game needed another year in development to really be what it should have been. Wait for a sale and multiple patches before you even consider buying.

Just finished the game after 75 hours of gameplay. Including every side quest, gig, and main storyline. I could not muster up the time and energy needed to do the NCPD scanner "quests" or collect-a-car-athon. After hour 60 or so, the passion and energy I had to come home to play this magically dissapeared. I was immersed in the story and the characters, but in that ending I played I was left wanting so much more. All of my choices, the culmination of my story, just fell out the bottom, much like a wet fart. Once the credits started to roll, I was excited to see what would happen once I was back in night city, but to my dismay. NOTHING. All of my hard work, all those hours, the stories told, and it wrapped up like soggy bottom biscuit in a damp, brown paper bag. I received no reward for finishing the game my unique way. This game could have been great, it had potential, and deep down I still hope this game finally gets finished in whatever state it may be. I can not, and it really pains me to say this, but I do not recommend this game to anyone in the state it is now [patch 1.0.6]. The story, while immersive at times, just does not deliver enough to justify spending the hours needed to fully complete it. The bugs I trogged through. the poor optimization settings I had to triffle with to even get this run "smoothly", and the constant hope of it will get better until it finally ends with the resounding dud of a cheap, knockoff smoke bomb. I wish I had better things to say about this, but I can not in good faith say that this was a good experience. The fun I did have was forced to justify spending money on a half-baked, incomplete, husk of a video game. Stay away, and pour your time and effort in a game that rewards you for your unique choices. 4/10 My faith in CDPR is in shambles and they do not seem like they are even attempting to reconcile any of it back.
