Cyberpunk 2077

... this game's story telling is on point which hooks you in and hopefully keeps you from doing anything else for the next 50 or so hours. Just like Witcher 3 this game has some bugs and at this point I haven't seen game breaking bugs just... how should I put it annoying at worst. For example some times trees render through walls, some dialogs bug so it sounds like the character is next to you when in reality they are in another room and some times something funny happens while you're in cutscenes (and in a car).

I'll get the obvious out of the way first. Yes, it's glitchy and rushed. that's just fact. But, that's not CDPRs fault. They said they needed more time, but the fans pushed for them to release it as is. Technical issues aside, it's very fun. I have it here, and my brother has it on xbox one, and we both are having a really good time. It reliably drives home the feel of an updated cyberpunk 2020. (I've played the tabletop game for a while.) It plays a little awkwardly, I'll be honest, but it's not too hard to get used to. I wish there was a little more customization, like car paint jobs, and weapon cosmetics, but that's not super important. What pushes it above average for me, is the immersion in the world of cyberpunk. Characters like Johnny, and Rogue are a lot like they are depicted in the Tabletop handbook, and articles written by Morgan Blackhand are pulled straight out of it. In short, It's not perfect, but it's not nearly as bad as people are saying. Especially in context with it's rushed final development.

I can't say much before the patches as I waited till everything was fixed. But it's a great game. Just wow, I have so many hours put into it and there's so much more left to do. I really like the main character, the twist with Johnny Silverhand. It's an amazing game. Block out the negativity and drive into NIGHT CITY!

I personally loved this game that much I first purchased it on the OG xbox one, not the best graphics but the game made me see through it. Nearly a year later my friend gave me his 1070ti and my love for the game grew even more. Screw what the critics say and give the game a go. It's pretty cheap now so there is no real excuse not to give it a go. CDPR gave me my other fav game Witcher 3 and they put so much effort and pride into their games for their fans. Support them so we can keep getting more games like this. And most importantly, be patient and understanding.

I bought Cyberpunk 2077 the day they announced the release date. And as everyone else, I got really disappointed when I tried to play the day it was released. But I still wanted to play, so I decided to wait. Fast forward to 2021. Right after I managed to buy a RTX 3060, it was time to give it another try. And performance wise, I got no complaints. I'm running on the preset "Ray Traicing Ultra" with a somewhat stable 60 FPS. (I got a Ryzen 5 3600 and 16gb of RAM at 3200mhz) The game still have quite a lot of bugs, like you getting close to a shelf and then things like a pile of paper or cans just exploding in a physics mess, but honestly that's normal for open worlds on this scale, like Skyrim and The Witcher 3. I still didn't finish the main story line, but I'm enjoying the journey so far. And I got so involved in some side quests that I would catch myself doing things like killing corpo trash in cold blood and feeling bad right after the fact. So the writing is good enough to awaken those feelings in the player. Having said all that. I wish they had waited to release Cyberpunk 2077 in this state. So if you were waiting to give CDPR another chance this is the time (specially if you manage to get it on a sale).
