Freaking Awesome!

Better than the messenger. Better than ninja gaiden. Wall jumping and flash jumping off floating doo-hickeys are gimmicky bullshit. Unless it is offering me new ways to hack and slash, it's just not helping the core gameplay. This plays like a Ninja Gaiden 1 with less annoying sticking to the wall when you don't want to. At first I was unhappy I couldn't duck, but the enemy projectiles are easy to read an it makes the crouch un-needed, similar to the fact that megaman never ducked back in the day. I am however missing a dash or slide, but that will be one of the power ups I'm sure. So far, found a bunch of secrets and had a run in with a memory that made my character vomit up cyber spew. GREAT ! ! ! Don't believe the other people. This thing is 5 stars if you're a 2D platformer connoiseur.

Avoid

Too much chasms to fall into, too high respawn rate, limited movement options. You don't feel like a ninja, more like a wooden doll. Nice music, though, but...
