This retro-inspired 2D Action RPG might outright surprise you. CrossCode combines 16-bit SNES-style graphics with butter-smooth physics, a fast-paced combat system, and engaging puzzle mechanics, served with a gripping sci-fi story.

You get the puzzles of Zelda-esque dungeons and are rewarded with the great variety of equipment you know and love from RPGs. CrossCode is a love letter to 16-bit RPGs and action-adventure games and features a fun projectile-based combat system. Its lengthy development time was well-spent, and it's clear that time was used to put together an RPG experience that's completely worthwhile. Whether or not you play a lot of RPGs, there's a lot to love here.

An incredible adventure from start to finish, CrossCode is a fictional MMO where the charm is anything but. With enthralling combat, intriguing puzzles and hours of enjoyable content, I cannot recommend this game enough.

Very solid gameplay with good writing
It's very obviously a nerdy game made by nerds who like to nerd around. I really appreciate that the game has likeable, interesting characters and avoids any lazy "in-jokes" about MMO gameplay where devs "joke" about anoying, lazy stuff just to do it themselves. I'm saying there's no character going "oh, an anoying puzzle :(" and then the game forces an anoying puzzle onto you. It's just a very likeable game, even if it has no chill.

Great time for JRPG lovers
This game is great, it has amazing pixel presentation. Flashy and well animated action game play. Along with well done and illustrated character design with snappy dialgoue throughout. I recommend people play this title and see for their selves if they like it.

Amazing find
Was introduced to this site and after browsing for a couple hours THIS got my attention. Very reasonably priced. Gamewise it runs amazing and I absolutely LOVE the music. I'm still only 2 hours in but it's been a blast so far. And even luckier, there's a way to port it to Android so long as you own the game. An absolute "Should Play" game in my opinion. I cant wait for future projects
