A Diablo2 of SHMUPs, with very good balance, making you always balance just on the edge, always keeping you in suspense.

It's too short for the money, I finished it in about 2 hours and can't see much reason to try it on a harder difficulty mode as it will just be more monsters. There are only four types of monster with palette changes: beetles, spiders, aliens, zombies. The monsters teleport in from nowhere and can land right on top of you. The power-ups spawn in response to killings and therefore tend to form chain reactions that suddenly remove any pressure. The music is a short, repetitive loop. Luck is a huge factor: if you only have a pistol, the enemies tend to drop weapons, but once you have a weapon it is much less likely that a different weapon will drop. If your first weapon on a level fires rockets, you win, but if it's the blowtorch or the wave-emitter, you lose. Get Alien Shooter instead, it's free.

Lost quite a few nights on this in my teens.

Oryginalny Crimsonland to najlepsza gra tego typu. To jest udane odświeżenie gry, nowa grafika, wyższe rozdzielczości itp. Zmieniono przede wszystkim wygląd, dodano nowe poziomy gry i poziom trudności - które trzeba odblokować(jak w oryginale). Dodano także nowe rodzaje broni ale w większości modyfikacje istniejących w oryginale. Perki w misjach są domyślnie wyłączone/schowane(nie ma w opcjach), więc trzeba je świadomie włączyć (esc w czasie gry i wpisz grim) - trochę ułatwiają rozgrywkę, więc jeżeli nie musicie to nie polecam. W porównaniu do oryginalnego crimsonland to gra się przyjemnie ale oryginał i tak pozostaje najlepszy :) Jeżeli ktoś nie grał to zdecydowanie polecam, jeżeli ktoś grał to ma powód by znowu zagrać :) P.S. Gratis dostajemy klasyczna wersja gry - polecam zagrać w obie :)
