Good stuff
I was surprised to find this game made for current OS'es. I looked for many years, tried the older versions but never got the game to work well. Now, this game works well again, music plays, sound is there etc. Yes it sometimes crashes (though since I changed it to Xp compatibility it didnt occur again) and I am enjoying it. Worth the little money to me.

Not easy to use
It was buggy even when it was released... I remember unfixable crashes. Now situation is even worse. Game is pretty easy and casual if played with keyboard and mouse. Missions aren't fast paced but interesting. You can have 5-20 hours of gameplay.

Absolute Classic - Forgotten uniqueness.
This is the one I've been waiting for here on GoG. Being the favorite game of my childhood, It is therefor impossible for me to fully objectively review this game. I would however say: The game has a true emotional appeal, with great music and ambiance, strangely unique and artful graphics, alongside very interesting game mechanics, Some of which I have not experienced ever since, in any game of the same genre. Ubisoft Blue Byte and Related Design would have an immense amount of inspiration to draw from this game, unto their Anno series. I can't guarantee extreme enjoyment for those of you who have not experiences this classic game as a kid. But there is a lot to appreciate still.

To abordage!
Although Corsairs came up with mediocre graphics, simple campaign's plot and plenty of game bugs it addicted me with real corsair atmosphere, seen before only in Sid Meier's Pirates. Brilliant sea fights, great battles on ships' decks, interesting trading system - all of that made me feel like Jack Sparrow of 99'. A must play for any sea dog out there!
