What an awesome little big game...
I've heard about it before, but, well, the graphics kept me a long time away from it - pixelart when other games get more and more realistic was not on my list anymore. A few days ago I stumbled over it again, and spontaneously bought it for me and my husband - and we have a really great time playing it! You get pretty fast used to the graphics, and to be honest, it is really cute, the music is relaxing and adorable, really cheering you up, and there is no real stress in this game, even with fighting, it's just .. lighthearted. At least at the beginning, we didn't do a serious boss fight yet. Multiplayer works like a dream, even though I would love to have an easier connect option (local lan etc) instead of a code you have to transfer between host and guest, which is changing every time the game is restarted. You can join a dedicated server by ip and port, though. Just have to have a dedicated server first. Connection time is very, very fast, and we couldnt find a bug yet. There are also so, so many QoL-Features in this game (f.e. sorting and crafting in/from chests around you, painting this chests in a lot of colors for better sorting, painting everything for nice homes, not an overwhelming amount of new loot constantly (looking at you, Enshrouded) etc) that it feels like a game the devs wanted you to have just one thing: Fun to play. It's really fun, and for this price it's a bargain with lots of hours of joy and fun. One of the best buys this year we've made.
