Bad Quak clone
Bad map layout, constantly confusing maze levels with no waypointing. Too much narrow corridors making shooting bad. Awful spawn points for enemies

OG Shooter
It has its own charm, like most of the old school shooters (doom, duke nukem, hexen, ect) but the voice lines are terrible only a few tiers down below Resident Evil, the first boss is obnoxiously convoluted however, the weapons don't feel very impactful though the dismembering is interesting. The egypt level has these autistic zombies I could do with out, havent gotten farther than that before taking a break.

Butt: The crack
I really liked the demo back in the good old days, but never had the chance to play the full version. Well, now I can! What can I say? It is hard or should I say unfair? Like you move around a corner and an enemy shoots you an missile into your face before you can react. So quicksave/quickload is your best friend. The level design is from hell - all maps are somewhat mazes which is somewhat a direct cause of the 2,5D engine and the block based map editor. But is the game shitty? Ye.. No! The graphics have this Quake1 charm; you can shoot limbs off your enemies (which was quite special for the time), the weapons are fun, the atmosphere is right. It is clearly not the best shooter ever made, but one of the few good indie titles made during the time. The best thing: The whole game was remade for modern systems, so no need for Dosbox anymore!

A really nice boomer shooter!
being a fan of the genre, i really appreciate this game! The puzzles, the tactics to kill the end-of-level bosses, all elements that take me back in time and make me relive past experiences but in new worlds and with really well characterized 3D lowpoly enemies. i recommend it to all lovers of the genre, it certainly won't please those who are too lazy to find intelligent solutions and therefore will get bored easily.
