repetitive with not gameplay

Pretty confusing
I know for some of you, who played this game in their younger years, enjoy this game very much. But for someone like me, who has never played this game before and just likes the retro stuff and looks for different retro games, Caesar II is a real pain. If you figure out how to win in this game it will be a great experience for sure but for me it was a bit frustrating due to the inconvenient way to control your plebs.

It has more charm than Caesar III.
The one thing I remembered from playing Caesar 2 is building a wall around the enemy soldiers and eternally imprisoning them.
