The best game!!!

So this game is hard. This game is really hard. This game is like a test that you didn't prepare for. But the test is on a subject you can't even pronounce. But the day before the test, you had a truck roll over your head. You're also in kindergarten. I jest; it truly is very hard (not that hard) and although it's hard, it is so very rewarding, not to mention fun. This game is stressful, hard, fun, and rewarding.

15 years later, there still is no real competition to Caesar 3, the best managerial strategy ever. The only not-so-good part of this game is the warfare, but you can avoid it completely in the peaceful missions. Difficulty is sometimes a bit high, some of you may even use the money cheat, but it's kinda ok, you still have to work hard to win every single mission. I install and play this game once a year or two, over and over again and still enjoy it a lot.

I adore this game, and rediscovered why I loved this as a child. Playing it today, I found that it has a very good tutorial and ingame information that presented a gentle learning curve - I was diving into a new city after a half hour stint in the tutorials without much difficulty.

This was one of my favorite games growing up. I remember how disappointing it was they moved away from the Caeser 2 style. Playing it again, I realize how far the series has come. Compared to the later titles, it feels...unpolished. My biggest irk is the lack of a roadblock, as in Pharaoh. It stops the aimless walkers from passing that point, but allows destination walkers through. A minor thing, but not having it is a huge headache when you're used to it. And the employment walkers are not something I missed. I know Pharaoh has them, but they don't seem to be as annoying as they are here. In short, a great game if you're playing the series in chronological order. Otherwise, I'd say head for the later titles and get the polish.
