Amazing story, less a game
I absolutely love the tale told by the Brothers. Even though all of the puzzles are easy and it doesn't take long to complete the game it is worth trying. After the initial stages you can feel the climate of this universum and it drags you in. I'd give 5/5 but I miss the complexity similar to Syberia series. It deserves strong 4 though.

Wanna buy it? Get a gamepad too!
This game is just a waste of money and thankfully I bought it on sales. Forget the mouse and keyboard, because it is not the way you have to play this game: you MUST own a gamepad to play in a decent way. Controls with keyboard and mouse are horrible, you must control the brothers with WASD keys and arrow keys together: it's frustrating in certain moments. I played for less than 10 minutes, then I pressed alt-F4.

Enjoyable and short
I played this game for the first time a month or so ago and it still managed to surprise me pleasantly, even after hearing for years about how good it was. I deliberately avoided real spoilers though and if you have managed to do that so far as well, I strongly suggest playing it before something ruins that for you. I only have steam version so I can't comment how well does GOG version work.

Great story and unusual controls
If it comes to storytelling - this game does it just great! It has very unusual control scheme (keep in mind that you almost NEED a controller to play it to experience what this game really is). The only drawback is that it's quite short. You can finish it in 4 hours with not too high replayability. Get it for reduced price and enjoy - you will surely not be disappointed!

One time play-ability
+1 - Outstanding scenery. +1 - Choreographed music. +1 - Making me CARE about the ending of the game. -1 - Voice overs are gibberish. Literally. -1 - The ending of the game. There is only one voice over language, and I don't recognize it. I would guess that it's either Esperanto or Sim-speak. It took me strait 150% out of the game immersion. It screws up the flow of the game play, because you've got to guess at what you're supposed to do. The game CLAIMED that I needed a controller. I don't. The controls are VERY simplistic.. just insanely difficult. You've got to be ambidextrous to control both brothers at the same time. It's a huge mental challenge. I got about 1/3 of the way through the game before I had to consult a walkthrough to figure out what the heck I was supposed to do. Thankfully, the puzzles in the game are all relatively straightforward. About 2/3rds of the way through the game I had to check the walkthrough again. That's when I learned that there were achievements. I wish I'd just quit there. The game takes some shocking turns, that you're not going to like. I ALMOST gave up the game right at the end, because the game refused to move on. I just started pushing all of the controls, and discovered that they switched them out to be clever. When you get there, you'll know it. So then the story ends shortly after.. but by the end you're so cold you just don't care anymore. The devs somehow made me feel just like the expression on little brothers face. I kinda hate them for that.. but I've got to applaud the effort. That's about the time that I noticed that the achievement menu didn't work. Personally, I love a good story. This one is something Shakespeare would write because he was pissed that his dog died. ..because his wife fell out of the window and crushed it. Then they both got run over by a horse. We've all seen those movies that you walk away from going 'everybody should watch it once'. Well this is one of those. Only it's a game.
