The best game ever
Five stars for the first Broken Sword game. There's a strange and magic atmosphere in the game and I love it :)

Bitterly, bitterly disappointed
From the lacklustre new opening cinematic, the loss of the surely legendary "Paris in the fall" speech, the poor direction of Nico's sequences, the out of place talking heads (Which have no animated talking), the lack of animation on simple tasks like picking up the phone or even speaking to people on the street. I _loved_ the original Broken Sword, its merely respect for that gem of a game that has stopped me giving this poor remake (and in many instances reimaging) of the original one star. Highlighting important things that can be viewed or manipulated is a bonus but a lot of unnessecary irritations are added in its place, additional dialogue removes a lot of the puzzle as well. Just argh. Every time I load this game again to play a little more I discover a new 'feature' that drives me to quit in sheer irritation.
