This game depicts the maiden adventure of a woman named Shelia in the year 2020.
The 1000-year-old relic swords known as "Kanshou and Bakuya", discovered through SRO research, have been found to comprise a unique multilayered structure, containing a mysterious substance in their cores. This substance, known as the "Soul of Jiu Xuan", possesses the ability to reanimate the dead. In an attempt to take possession of the substance, the "SAI" - a massive terrorist organization controlling its own army - has used a cutting-edge piece of technology known as a "Quantum Transporter" to infiltrate the SRO research facility and steal top-secret and incredibly dangerous data. To make matters worse, while attempting to calibrate coordinates on the Quantum Transporter, Shelia mistakenly activates the device, immediately transporting everyone in the vicinity to the Floating Island - an airborne continent near the North Pole, undisturbed in its slumber for over 1000 years. It is soon discovered that the various beasts and corpses of those who once populated the island have been reanimated by the "Soul of Jiu Xuan", and they're coming for Shelia...

Shelia: Hannah Grace
The female main character. 21 years old. Her parents were in the military. After losing both parents in a sudden tragic accident at the age of six, she was raised by Professor Richard Carter, founder of the SRO. Having spent years undergoing various types of military training and shining among her peers in virtually every field, her near-superhuman abilities landed her a spot as a member of the ultra-elite "SRO Emergency Inspection Team".
Carter: Jack Merluzzi
Founder of the SAI. Male, 35 years old. Taking advantage of his influential status, he struck it rich by buying and selling vast numbers of ancient artifacts on the black market. After learning of the existence of the "Soul of Jiu Xuan", he immediately infiltrated the SRO in an attempt to steal top-secret data.

I liked it. The gameplay is fluid, you never stop moving and shoot, hit, dodge enemies. There is also a combo mechanics to push you to always be in action. It's a doom like on this point. The music is epic and really put you in the mood.
You avec 3 weapons and skills you unlock gainning XP. The more you unlock skills, the more it gets fun. The story is thin but it's an introduction, so you just have the plot to introduce you the main protagonists, i hope for more in the next game. For now it's quite linear, a corridor FPS. I don't mind : a good corridor FPS is better than a shitty open world. The final boss is interresting you can't charge without thinking, you need to observe and learn the pattern.
Graphics a nice, seila and enemies design are cool !
Took me 1 hour to finish.
Some blackspot : you have skin for your character but it's an FPS, so you don't see it, apart from the cinematics.
A must play if you like nervous fun gameplay (a mix between doom and devil may cry), i look forward the next episode.

Its hard, fun and frenetic. The enemies are real challenges and it´s gameplay is unique, the music is also appropiated and good, but I must say that there are a lot of unnescesary flashing scenes just in your face. After a short playtime session you may found yourse visually tired.
Pros:
+ Fun and responsive game play
+ Creative FPS with hack & slash mechanics
+ Viseral and hard combat. (You need to know the enemies to beat them)
+ Good music
+ Art style is a blend between fantasy and SCI Fi that works
+ Low price, excelent product.
Cons:
+ Extreme use of flashing lights while playing and in cutscenes. They may make you feel sick.. (Thats my case while writting this review)
You should try this game, is what a FPS should be. And for the price worth it.
I played this early access game on steam due to a friend recommending it and it's a very promising title. The gameplay is very easy to pick, the graphics are amazing, and the gun play is addictive. The voice acting and story leaves much to be desired but that can be fixed when Infinite comes out. Whether kb/m or game pad, you'll enjoy how fast paced this game is.
Pick this up and enjoy the 1 hour ride!
