It's going to get bloody!
Yes indeed! It will. Thanks to the Terminal Cut now even on the new PC Generation! The BloodRayne Games are truly Classical and a must play for everybody who is even slightly interested in Fast-Paced-Action Games. The Terminal Cut adds full modern PC support, upscaled Videos and the game is running now on 60FPS. From a technical perspective the Terminal Cut seems much much cleaner than the original Release (Cinematics are now integrated in the main game and the Cutscene.exe seems finally be gone! Hurray!). Furthermore the lighting was improved, nothing groundbreaking but it gives the game a much nicer and more atmospheric touch. It is still the BloodRayne you know from back in the days, but better. There is really no reason to go back to the old old Version, now called 'Legacy', which caused always trouble on at least my PCs. The story of Bloodrayne is not very complicated. You are Rayne a so called "dhampir", which is another word for half-vampire-half-human and your mission is to eliminate all Vampires you can find. At some point Rayne get in contact with an Organisation called "The Brimstone Society" which gives her the Mission to investigate the swamps of Louisiana, because there were signs of strange and unnatural Happenings. This is were BloodRayne1 kicks (no pun intended) in. Throughout the game you slash your way through Hordes of zombies, Nazi-soldiers and other types of enemies to find a bunch of strange artifacts that have some sort of mystical power ... The Core of the Gameplay is to run and Jump through the Levels and gun your way to different bosses (called Targets) which lead sometimes to unique Boss-Fights. And there is not much more to say about it. If you like games like Devil May Cry, Nier: Automata or the good old Quake1 this game is possibly the right choice for you. And remember: She's hunting, so better hide somewhere safe!
