Even with those rough edges, the majesty that is Blood shines through quite well. It's great to have you back, Caleb. Hopefully, you won't stay dead for another few decades this time.

Blood is a classic FPS game. Its level design, animation, movement, arsenal of weapons and monsters are as delectable today as they were in 1997. Fresh Supply is a solid way to experience it all, though there isn't enough to win over longtime Blood players from their favorite sourceport.

Best release of this classic

Runs perfectly, is faithful (in my eye), superior to the unofficial source ports, and enhances the original visuals with things like ambient occlusion and voxels. ONLY complaint is some weird behaviour when jumping on top of voxel objects eg. fences and gravestones, which makes getting an early secret a bit tricky.

Good, Bad, I'm the guy with the gun

Thank's to Nightdive you no longer have to scour for wonky sourceports to play one of the best FPS games ever made. Blood is so good I even played through the entire game on Well Done and went through the trouble of getting all the achievements. And I usually could care less.

A broken mess. But i still love it.

Disclaimer: I love blood. Blood is one of the few FPS that really warms my heart when it comes to comedy, style and .. of god the voiceline. But this Version is just a shadow of the Blood we loved and cared for. Glitches, Bugs, Crashes.. the list ist pretty long. Yet i do like the direction it goes and once the patches get released i will change my review. For now i cannot support a release that is broken and buggy like this. But i will not return it since i believe in the devs to correct it. For you out there who loved and enjoyed blood, don't buy this version until the first big patch comes.
