Works great on Linux
Having just ensembled my new Linux workstation, Blazing Star was my first game tested. It works without issues at first try. No required to install old 32 libraries. In regards the game, it is an old school shoot 'em up. You know the kind. Fight your route through the level from left to right, accumulating power-ups whilst shooting without pause.

Plays too fast
This game plays too fast. It is running at roughly 2x the speed. I tried it on Windows and 2 different Linux distributions, both had the issue. Don't buy this broken game. It is a shame that GOG is selling it in this state. I'll be more careful before buying from GOG in the future.

My Favorite Horizontal Shoot'em up!
I love this game and the fact that you can just enter the installation folder, get the neogeo bios and the rom to run it on MisTer or FB Neo its so cool, you dont need to play it using the execuatble file that comes with the game, its mostly gargabe to play it that way.

Fun Arcade shooter, runs fine
I had no problems running the game (on Linux). I played with a Dualshock 4 (PS4) and had a lot of fun. It is a simple arcade shooter. One can choose between multiple ships with different weapons. The game was originally made for gaming automates in Japan. So as long as you don't forget to give yourself enough credits you have infinite life. It plays trashy sounds. R-Type is way better but as far as I know this is the only one running on Linux. Wish there were more and recent games like this in R-Type style. It is ok for a reduced price below 5€ .
