The 50s, New York City: Joe Dunn, owner of a boxing club, is found dead.
Meanwhile, rising star Bobby Yale, due to take to the ring for the most important fight of his career, has mysteriously disappeared.
Sonia Dunn, Joe’s daughter, takes over the gym and must deal with its financial woes. She hires private detective John Blacksad to investigate Yale’s disappearance. This sinister case will take our investigator to the darkest, most dismal depths of New York.

like cinema. ending is a bit meh though.
very interesting game with a movie feeling to it. gameplay is clumsy on pc sometimes though, and time to decide is utterly short. quite a long and well built story, and yet, the ending possibilities kind of felt like meh to me. like if they didn't work the endings out as well as the other parts of the story.

Enjoyable modern point and click style
Good point and click style game, abit done with gamepad. The only downside to this game I can find is the character gets stuck behind things. The controls do feel a little wooden and not as responsive as I feel it should be. Perhaps I should play it with a mouse, but I do like to stream to my iPad via Moonlight so a mouse isn't always an option. Anyway, good story. Is mainly a point and click type game, but then has dramactic moments, a bit like The Walking Dead games. In fact, its very like those Walking dead games, so if you like those, chances are you like this style of game.

A good story lacking UI polish
I'm conflicted between 3 stars and 4 stars. The story is nice, very linear, good voice acting and there's some exploration and thinking needed. The gameplay is ... a bit raw. It works and the game never crashed, but the camera is a bit annoying at times, the QTEs are quite unpredictable, the UI is a bit clunky and slow in general to navigate. Could've definitely used a bit more polish on the controller usage.
