Underrated gem

I played about 12 Hours to this point. The game itself is actually pretty awesome. After the first few hours the game really starts to unfold. Awesome world, cool ideas, many things to do and see. The weapon crafting feature alone is so crazy, you don't want to miss it. There are also many vibes from games like Zelda:BotW, Beyond Good & Evil, Batman Arkham Series and many more. The combat needs some balancing, but this will probably patched shortly. This game is a gem from a small studio, that really put a lot of effort and took risks. Don't let the negative reviews mislead you into thinking this is a bad game. It is certainly not, it is just something different and special. Precisely the definition of an underrated gem. I really hope that there will be a sequel. I really recommend playing it yourself and keep playing at least 5-10 hours, to see if this is a game you like or not.

Refrehing enjoyment.

If you are stuck in group-think you already made up your mind but if you can still think for yourself give it a try. The only gripe I have it is a combo heavy game which goes well with a controller and not with keyboard and mouse. So sadly, if you are stricktly a keyboard and mouse player like me you might think twice.

Almost missed that gem

I'll be honest the choice to have a narrator speaking for every single npc and being omnipresent is really annoying, thankfully you can get rid of it thanks to the game offering this option. That being said i'm really happy to have bought this game, it's nice, fun and really chill to play.

Fresh, entertaining, beautiful.

I admit that i didn’t have great expectations on this one, but at the end i found a great game. First of all, the world is really fantastic: it’s one of the best openworld i ve ever seen in 30 years of gaming. It’s huge, colourful, full of missions, secrets, different resources and biomes. You travel through forests, jungles, deserts, abandoned cities, contaminated areas, villages and it’s never boring. The quests are almost infinite, yet a little bit redundant, especially the conquest of the outposts. The plot is nothing special, you are the generic hero who must save the world but if you want you can play for 30+ hours without touching the main quest, so it’s not a great problem. The battles are interesting, you have a lot of different weapons, armors, upgrades and combat styles. You can craft a whole world of different objects and the survival aspect is important if you play at the higher difficulty. From a technical point of view the game is beautiful and smooth: i had one single crash in 55 hours of gaming at 60 fps FullHD with an old GTX1650, so people who complain about 1000 crashes or stuttering problems either have a potato pc or are trolls. Probably the latter. The only reason i don’t give 5 stars is the fact that some boss fights are frustrating QTE sections, the rest of the game in my humble opinion is nearly perfect.

Nuda

Biomutant to gra action RPG z otwartym światem, osadzona w postapokaliptycznych klimatach. Historia opowiada o losach zmutowanych zwierząt, a my wcielamy się w jednego z nich. Świat gry jest piękny - śliczne naturalne krajobrazy są pomieszane z ruinami upadłych miast. Z jednej strony zwiedzamy bajkowe łąk, a z drugiej eksplorujemy zapomniane bunkry. To moim zdaniem jest najmocniejszy punkt tej gry. Drugim dopracowanym elementem jest walka - pograłem 8h i wydaje mi się, że tylko liznąłem ogrom elementów, które ta gra nam daje - możemy używać mieczy, broni palnej, kombosów, ciosów specjalnych i czegoś w rodzaju magii. Całość jest płynna i daje całkiem dużo frajdy. Te kilka dopracowanych elementów to niestety moim zdaniem za mało na udaną grę. Biomutant kładzie zbyt duży nacisk na action i otwarty świat, a za mały na RPG. Tak więc po kilku godzinach gry nasz dziennik będzie zawalony losowymi zadaniami, które nie mają większego sensu. "znajdź 5 ważek", "otwórz 3 sejfy", "znajdź skarby w lokacji nr 47" itd. Gdyby jeszcze za zrobienie tych zadań była jakaś ciekawa nagroda albo stała za nimi jakaś fabuła. Ale nie, w większości przypadków znajdujemy jakieś losowe śmiecie, które zwiększają jakieś cyferki pancerza, ale nie dają żadnej satysfakcji. Jeszcze gorzej jest w warstwie fabularnej. "idź i uratuj świat" albo "idź i podbij te trzy miasta" to w zasadzie cała fabuła... NPC nic ciekawego nie mówią. Z większością nie da się porozmawiać, a jeśli się już trafi jakiś rozmówca to rozmowa urywa się zanim dojdzie do czegoś ciekawego. Zresztą sam system dialogów jest dziwny - gra czasem nam daje wybór, o co chcemy zapytać, ale zwykle NPC odpowiada tylko na fragment pytania i rozmowa się kończy. To wszystko sprawia, że po pierwszych paru godzinach gra staje się nudna. Może i zwiedzamy nowe miejsca, ale nic ciekawego w nich nie ma i nikt nie ma nic ciekawego do powiedzenia. Widać w tej grze dużo potencjału, ale moim zdaniem zmarnowanego.
