The townspeople work, build, get older, have children, and eventually die. Keeping them healthy,
happy, and fed are essential to making a successful town grow. Any structure can be built at any
time, provided that your people have collected the resources to do so.
There are many occupations that the people can perform from farming, hunting, and blacksmithing, to
fishing, teaching, and healing. You can choose to replant forests, mine for iron, and quarry
for rock, and more!
Build a city with any layout you want with almost no restriction on when, what, and where you build.
Keep the population happy and healthy by providing them with food and warm shelter.
Watch the town grow as you assign 20 different jobs to build buildings, grow food, craft tools and clothing, and more!

..but now it is too expensive and the content is insufficient. I can say that nothing changed through the years. Years without updates! It's good for one or two evenings but there's no point in playing longer. No challenges, no quests. Just a simulator with poor, banished, trying to starve bastards. It is a pleasure to watch little men working but after a short time it gets just boring.
I like it, and really tried to make it work, thinking I need to "git good", but goes belly up for all the wrong reasons. At 12/2/2 people started to die due to famine, with 4/4 gatherer and 3/3 hunter. "How could that be??!!" I stupidly ask myself. Well ofcourse, the resources are laying on the floor all over the forest because reasons... "Maybe I need a closer barn", I dumbly continue. "Up yours" says the game, as the laborers idle instead of clearing the barn build site...
W samouczku zasady rozgrywki są dobrze wyjaśnione, co pozwala od razu rozpocząć zabawę. Gra się przyjemnie stawiając kolejne budowle, a gdy już wszystko co możliwe postawimy, czyli po ok. 15 godzinach gra staje się monotonna.
Może jakaś fabuła by się przydała, żeby chciało się rozpocząć kolejną rozgrywkę, bo system osiągnięć, który jest w grze, nie bardzo mobilizuje do dalszego uczestnictwa w zabawie.
Gdybym miał przyrównać tę grę do innych simów o rozbudowie kolonii np. Oxygen not Included lub Crafted World, to powiem szczerze, że Banished okazałoby się grą nieskończoną, wręcz w fazie beta. Piszę tu oczywiście o podstawowej wersji gry bez żadnych modów.
Muzyka w tle nawet przyjemna, nie drażni. Graficznie jest ok, choć wg mnie gra wygląda gorzej niż starszy o prawie 10 lat Earth 2160.
Sztuczna inteligencja ludzików, a raczej logika gry czasami irytująca, np. magazyn pełny żarcia, a człowieczek umiera z głodu, bo nie może go znaleźć. To pewnie wynika z faktu, że symulacja jest wykonywana w tle, a prezentowane graficznie wydarzenia są jedynie mniej więcej z nią zgodne. Jakby nie było, to denerwuje.
Kupiłem w cenie ok 24 zł. Czuję, że chyba przepłaciłem. Ocena końcowa, to jakieś 5/10
I find this game really compelling. It has aspects to it you really don't see in other games like the primary need to manage you population to maintain enough workers to help your village thrive. At the harder settings you really have to find the proper balance.
It is actually a nice subtle challenge. It could use some more special events as others have said about this game, but at its core is a casual build game that doesn't need them. It depends completely on the player. Personally I love this game and think it is a work of art of a video game as it stands.
