Masterpiece
Well, what can I say? If you are among the very few people who still haven't played BG3, then what are you waiting for? It simply is one of the best role-playing games ever published, a very worthy heir of the Baldur's Gate saga and more generally of the whole genre.

just a bad game
the mechanics dont allow you to look up. Even with mods the character creation is glitched. When you go to chose the body styles 3 of them dont allow you to switch thier genders. In combat you are constantly finding yourself in No Win Situations. There is no player guide to help explain how to play the game and no tutorial to take you through the basics. Moving around is a pain. I tried just using the mouse and moving to waypoints. You dont know which way your facing on the map and the map doesnt turn to show you in which direction your facing. Just a poorly designed game. Not enough work went into the mechanics and no support is given to the player

Basically perfect
Visual fidelity, story, acting and a satisfying gameplay loop that straddles the line between accurate to D&D and making it fun and playable as a video game are all absolutely impeccable. Honestly haven't seen this kind of care put into a game in an extremely long time.
