I want to like this game more...
But it has some problems. For a start, YMMV it is very linear with only a little you can do exploring, the controls get a bit janky sometimes especially in the way the camera dynamically moves and the system thinking I want to climb up when I don't while trying to use the rails (I basically never used 'em outside of getting that achievement TBF, they didn't feel that important or valuable), the way the eyes are rendered makes it so sometimes when the camera angle is just so you can see gaps between the eyes and the sockets in ways that look positively lovecraftian (admittedly I think that's funny but still), and difficulty seemed uneven (2nd to last > last). Arguably more "me" problems include I struggle with the combo system as it seems to require waiting after punches half the time before punching again and basically I can only seem to trigger it by accident (I think it sometimes gives a string of all short triggers?) and at least two of the sidequest fight challenges seem to require perfect combo streaks given how far behind I've been falling every time I've attempted them, and I'm not sure how you're supposed to get the boss wall jumping achievement, as sadly the final boss doesn't seem to allow you to actually jump off of him so you're kinda screwed if you missed it and will have to go start all over for it. Sorry but I'm a bit burned out to try and start over yet alone go for the time crunch achievement right now... c'est la vie it'll be in my library maybe I'll come back to it someday. In any case, I did have fun, albeit I kinda wish it had more exploration potential (like optional upgrades you have to find, not just buy, and possibly even optional upgrades that unlock areas that give more optional upgrades), more stuff to use the currencies for, maybe even a wider range of things to do (maybe an Institute stealth sequence, possibly even controlling the friend during one of his raids? at the very least it feels like there should be a boss rush option).
