It's working now!

Somehow, they managed to fix the problem. Just edit the shortcut application's properties and in the "Target" box in the 'shortcut' tab, look for 'launcher.exe' at the end of the address line and change it to 'alone4.exe', then save the changes and copy the shortcut application to the desktop and doubleclick on it. It will work! Enjoy the game!

busted...

I made it to the end of aline's side to get stopped by game breaking bug preventing me for getting past and enemy body blocking a bridge to the last area. Big killjoy was really into it. Very disappointed...

Best Alone In The Dark game!

The New Nightmare is decidedly the best game in the Alone In The Dark franchise and one of the greatest horror games ever made. Even after 25 years (soon to be celebrated) it still has a generations of players who love it. I sincerely think that a remaster or a true-to-the-original remake would be the next step in ensuring that the legacy of the AITD ftranchise will go on. The sooner, the better...
