best tycoon game
This game has one of the best cartoon styls in my opinion. There are a lot of easter eegs and it was awesome to find them again, like in my childhood. But back to the essential of the game, its highly complex there are all important Parameters which the management of the airline has to handle. All in all its such a nice game and its much fun to play.

Ta gra jest dla mnie wyjątkowa, dzierży bowiem zacny zaszczyt bycia pierwszą pudełkową grą jaką miałem, i po dzień dzisiejszy od czasu do czasu do niej wracam. Kolorowa, kreskówkowa grafika i lekki humor kryją za sobą bardzo solidną grę ekonomiczną, z całym dobrodziejstwem inwentarza - tabelkami, wykresami, MASĄ mikro i makro zarządzania - personelem, zleceniami i przede wszystkim - samolotami. Tym tym kryje się największa wada gry - by nasza linia działała dochodowo należny poświęcić bardzo, bardzo wiele uwagi na wszelkie detale ( ilość pasażerów, zasięg, skąd i dokąd kto leci ). Przy dwóch-trzech samolotach to jeszcze nie wielki problem, ale przy pięciu-sześciu....Dodajmy jeszcze że rozbudowa floty jak i realizacja celów misji wymaga wydania dziesiątek (a pod koniec kampanii - setek !) milionów, mamy grę która wymaga naprawdę wiele, wiele czasu. Mimo tego, Airline Tychoon ma swój magnetyczny urok i mimo powtarzalności chce się do tej gry wracać.

Still remember watching my older brother playing Airline Tycoon when I was little, After years I finally get the latest version on GOG, and I immediately get addictive to it. There are some minor issues like the frame rate is capped at 20 FPS, and some small bugs may annoy you from time to time (For example, sometimes the notebook would stuck, and you have to save & load to fix it. Another more annoying one is when you load your saved game, occasionally your character would stuck at the escalator in the main hall, and the only solution I've known is to call it a day). But overall it is a fantastic game. By the way, if you have a lagging issue, you can search for the file to fix it.

Oddly fun
Now I should clarify that I have no association with this game nostaligiclly, I did not grow up with it. That said, I had a really fun time. I suppose me working at the airport gave me a rough idea of what to do (and the tutorial helped), but for the most part I knew what I needed to do. And I can go back to this game at any time and know exactly what I need to do; I've spent more hours on this game than I thought I would, I suppose that's what makes it a classic. If you like old games, or sim games, give this game a shot.
