First i'd like to say, this gem aged really well. Full HD resolution available, the graphics are pretty, the gameplay and interface very user friendly (i'm pretty much a beginner in AoW). Only over one hour within the game, and i completely love it. The soundtrack is phenomenal, and the story is very promising! Will probably make the walkthrough on Youtube for this. Love it :)
Jedna z niewielu ciekawych pozycji z tamtych lat. No cóż, może i wygląda jak klon "hirołsów", ale takich gier brakowało. I tak otrzymaliśmy niedocenioną, zapomnianą perełkę! Chętnie bym do niej powrócił tutaj, ale niestety - tutaj nawet polskiego ani innego języka nie ma :v Całe szczęście, że posiadam wersję Kolekcja Klasyki, a tak to w internecie spolszczenia w ogóle nie ma.

I bought this game when I was a kid and I still love it! Good mix of strategy, empire building, dungeon crawling, and turn based combat (which you can skip or fast forward)
I remember standing in the computer store with not much money to buy a game and i was browsing the less pricey games. Glad I chose this one. It's a gem that I'll replay forever.
I am old and the games of my youth were full of chit. Age of Wonders would have been so good for my Defender of the Crown/Genghis Khan playing self, or my tabletop war game teen years. I play it now, and it explodes my brain to want other possibilities., other ambitions. I want to change it to make it more perfect than the perfection it is. Age of Wonders, I think I love you.
It crashes every once in a while, so saving each turn can help.
