Brief review from a new fan

I arrived on this game because the advertising was excellent. It talked about quests which I enjoy a lot, and freedom as it s sold as an openworld. As a matter of fact I must have passed by them, I don't remember receiving quests other than hunt and kill and the open wolrd seems very small all thinfs consiedered. I yet overcame my frustration cause : _ This game might become a new Street Fighter Competitive sport (I still hope to become progamer some day) _ The mechanisms of fight (really the skeletton of this game) are well thought, and smooth to watch on our screen. _ It asks and offers to its players an opportunity to develop their reflexes, their coordination and ability to react to their adversaries/foes. I regret the interface is QWERTY first and for all. The most important keys are not rebindable. I speak about the postures.They are foudamental and on keyboard I would have had the right to place them differently. All considered it can provide a lot of stress and exhilaration if you re a competitive person. That s why I grant it a four stars. ;-p

Fun, challenging and complex

This fucking game! It's becoming one of my favorite games of all time. The combat is very skill based and fun, the art style is beutiful and overall it's just a great game. I would recommend it to absolutly everyone.

Lags in most of the PVPs are frustrating

When I saw some youtube videos of this game I thought that this game is perfect for me. After reading some negative comments I still wanted to try this game. Idea is really great if you like fighting games. Making your deck with cool moves is fun. Graphics and sceneries are lovely. So when you are starting playing Absolver you will probably not get frustrated by some random lags in first levels and short story mode. So negative impressions started for me when I got into PVPs. Most of the PVP games are really laggy which is terribly frustrating when your skill and deck is based on reflex. I am at the point when I stopped enjoying game. I finished story mode and thought that I will train and enjoy PVP but it is to laggy sadly. Currently game is not worth price :(

Issues gallore!

First thing I noticed was that there was nothing in the main menu that said anything about joining a server, hosting a game, play in co-op mode, pretty much nothing you'd expect from a game that advertises multiplayer/co-op. The intro was only ok to me. The combat was lackluster and not at all what I would consider to be "fluid". Once I got to an "alter" I discovered in this menu that I could invite friends. However I could only seem to successfully invite 1 friend. When I tried for a 3rd, it simply would not let him join. So we took turns trying to invite each other with the same results. So with just myself and 1 friend we tried to play. We both crashed multiple times. Both of us experienced moments where the camera would lock into place and not allow us to look around anymore. Both of us experienced tremendous lag and rubberbanding and we are on a LAN. Hugely disappointed with this title.
