decent game with flaws
a decent game, not the best not the worst, definitely worth playing the puzzles are a bit lame but not too difficult - they are there to push the story forward, no mundane tasks overall, good experience, would recommend for all point and click fans

A fun little story
When I ask myself what kept me going was seeing where this adventure game would lead. Looking forward to see where the life of this young real estate salesman would lead. I felt compassion as he did his best to look out for himself and forge a legacy, but sadly gets stuck in the end. I thought it was a bit too short and the puzzles were easy, but in the end I enjoyed myself and that's the most important.

Game Breaking Bug in Havana on the Mac
There is a part in Havana where I cannot get past. After watching multiple walkthroughs, it seems like this version of the game is bugged. I cannot get past this point even after a restart.

A Delightful Mystery
It's Winter Sale 2015 and guess what game found its way to my library? I had no idea what it was about, nor read the description, but jumped in, and overall I thought the amount of time spent was worthwhile. I game away with an enjoyable and thoughtful game. The game does a great job engaging you in your character's life so that you're invested in the outcomes of decisions and can share in some of his joys and frustrations (especially frustrations). As another viewer suggested, I finished the game in about 5 hours. The gameplay and story were both interesting. I like the game developer's incorporation of the main character's salesmen-type personality in that you can be rather crafty to get the job done (i.e., persuading, intimidating, etc.). The puzzles were relatively straightforward if you pay close attention to surroundings, though I admit getting through one of the puzzles on blind luck. The atmosphere is excellent, the music was quite good, the dialogue near perfect, and the voice acting pretty good. Interspersed throughout the game are some "mini-games" whereby you are presented with a different interface to accomplish whatever goal is at hand. The game is pretty forgiving (as in, your not falling into death traps left and right as I have tendency to do in other adventure games), though it seems to get more that way towards the end. One thing I appreciated is that spots you can visit were limited to those that were important to progressing the storyline. Again, with other adventure games I've wandered aimlessly for quite some time because the world was quite large and I was quite confounded. All in all, if you have a rainy afternoon and like a good adventure game, grab yourself a beverage (hot or cold) and lose yourself in the 20s in real-estate and, and see how you fare as a footstool...

Charming Recession
Wonderful period piece adventure game. Gameplay-wise, it's pretty standard for the genre, but the voice acting is enjoyable, the music is great, and the (largely) true-to-life narrative is engrossing. The puzzles are fun enough, I'm a sucker for any kind of dialogue tree (though they don't affect the narrative much here), and the persuasion challenges are probably my favorite aspect of the game. There is one brief sequence I found annoying, as I kept failing it over and over again, only figuring it out thru a significant amount of trial and error. For the record, it's the plane sequence, and you may want to look up the solution to that online if you get stuck on it. Other than that, I didn't have any issues with the gameplay. Story-wise, while I loved the plot overall, I did find the pace kind of bipolar. Some sections are slow and breezy (in the best possible way), only to find that you've been hurled forward in the plot somewhat unexpectedly. This happened too many times for my liking, though it may have been a development of necessity. But overall, this was a very good game, and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys the genre and the setting. (This is a copy of my review on HowLongToBeat, where I gave the game 90%)
