I can't believe it's just a demo
I was expecting to only play about 7-10 rounds and get kicked back to the main menu, but I didn't! The demo has so much of the game to offer for free. You only get 2 playable characters, but based on my testing, there doesn't seem to be a limit to how far they can go. Enough about the demo aspect, let's talk about the game itself. If you like RPG, rogue-like, and pinball games, then this is the game for you. It combines all of these aspects into a way every fan can enjoy. The pinball tables have become weaponized and you now have to aim your ball at the zombies to kill them. But be careful because if you miss any, they'll start attacking the flippers, which costs you some health. There's also some obstacles that need to be destroyed to clear the level. The tutorial is very concise about this and as someone who has somewhat of a skill issue, I've learned my way around these obstacles within minutes of playing a level. As for the RPG aspects, you get items that help you recover any mistakes you made or upgrade your ball or the cannon that launches it. These will be necessary because there's a boss fight every 5-7 in-game "days", which are actually just every round you do an action. Like fighting zombies, talking to wizards to upgrade your powers, etc. Even though this demo packs a ton of wonderful content that kept me entertained for 2 hours as of writing this, I would still recommend showing your support and buy the full game. I plan on doing the same when I can afford it.
