Description

Wilmot's Warehouse is a puzzle game about keeping a warehouse running in tip-top shape. You play as Wilmot, a hard working warehouse employee tasked with pushing, sorting and stacking a variety of products. Over time more and more truckloads of these products will arrive, gradually filling up the warehouse. How you arrange them all is entirely up to you - organize by color, type, the Dewey Decimal System, or some wild format that only you understand - it’s all good! Just remember where you put everything, because when the service hatch opens, you'll need to find the things people want quickly, in order to earn the coveted Performance Stars required for all manner of labor-saving upgrades.

Features
- Unique relaxing gameplay.
- 500 possible products to stock.
- All manner of upgrades and perks.
- Splitscreen 2 player co-op: Work in tandem to organize the warehouse with a friend - Customise your game with Expert Mode for an extra challenge
- Sublime electronic music to listen to while you decide whether wellington boots belong in the footwear section, or with the umbrellas.

Please note that 2 player co-op mode requires at least one gamepad.

Minimalistic

This game is a strange one. It is quite minimalistic, with very little rules - you get a mix of stuff, and then you are asked to deliver that stuff. You do it however you like - if you have perfect memory, just put the stuff anywhere, but you will normally try to associate similar things together, and later remember that on the top left you have stuff related to machines, and on the center right - animals and related, like bowls, tags etc. So when something new arrives, it is up to you to decide what it is most like, and thus where to put it. In my game, I got some unidentified object, and after a moment (didn't have much more as everything happens in haste) I decided it is a duck penis, did you know duck penises are spiral and quite interesting? Anyway, I put it in the zoo section of the warehouse of course, and this was a good solution, as would be any other. The cycle of the game is: each month you first have 3 minutes to take the delivery (which is usually a hopeless mixture of everything), where you do whatever you want (nobody judges your arrangement of the items), and then some short time to serve 4 requests for particular items. After each month, 4 new item types are added. After three months there is a pause where you have unlimited time to "refactor" your warehouse, and you get a bigger delivery, but this time usually just two or three types of items, in bulk quantities. Sometimes this means you suddenly need to make room for 25 of those hats that were tucked away in the furthest corner until now because you only had 3 of them. Every 3 months you can also buy upgrades for the stars you earn by quick delivery. The upgrades are: strength (carry more items at once), more space (demolish pillars), and later a robot that helps you a little bit by bringing items to where you have more of that item. Just don't overestimate the robot, it's somewhat stupid. I finished the game once, and I don't feel like playing soon again, but it was interesting couple of hours.

So good!!!

Discovered this on a whim and gladly bought it up! Suprisingly addictive and great gameplay loop. Quite relaxing to play, especally during the 'stock take' sections in which time has been paused and you can optimise your space and layout. Well worth it!

scratches my brain

deftly shifts modes between zen organization and tense memory recall with slick controls and a stellar soundtrack. would love there to be an endless mode because leaving behind a completed 200 item warehouse feels a bit heartbreaking!

Overpriced and Stressful!

Relaxing? NO! -- with the timer, you are PRESSED to doing in time or get literally NOTHING, nothing to upgrade then to deal with more and more stocking, and also orders. Nothing fun, the simple icons worth nothing, everyone could bulk making in a short time. No tricks and no stratergy to talk about the game core, just another type of wait-and-upgrade in very slow processing. And you need to pay $8+(discounted) for a very thin core play style: moving around, pick and throw blocks with WEIRD and unpolished controls and UNABLE to remap natively?? That's only worth less than $1 okay?? with $1 I can play Storm Boy for real RELAX. Rediculous. In other way, the game was a free gift I claimed on epic. I'm feeling myself is STUPID after playing the game for 3 seasons in the first year, and decided to refund.
