TOP HUNTER: RODDY & CATHY

Runs fine on Proton 9.0-1 after installation. Game seems faithfully reproduced including its unfortunate tendency to drop inputs. This would have been a good target for enhancement. There's also no save states (e.g., to practice the last mission) or a way to just start as P2/Cathy. You use fireballs a lot in this game and I prefer watching the Venom Strike animation to Roddy's Ko-Ou Ken. Between M2, Hamster, Bitwave and City Connection's S-Tribute line, this is the worst of the wrappers being only minimally serviceable. There are scanlines at least and an option to toggle flicker which is nice, though this isn't the flashiest of games. In all, consider the ACA release instead if you're on one of those platforms. One nice pro, however, is you can extract the ROM with some effort (check the forums).
