This game is simply beautiful ...
This game is a walking sim but it is also so much more than your usual walking sim in which you simply walk around and get the story told piece by piece in chronological order until the game ends. In this game you will play a supernatural animal in a spiritual and sureal setting and you are basically free to explore. While exploring you will find artifacts that will tell you parts of the story and you will also find collectibles. The story is not told in a chronological order so it is up to you to figure out how everything fits together. After discovering some bits ofthe story you will get additional abilities. Some will make it easier for you to get around others might also be required to unlock future parts of the story. How this all works in detail would be too much of a spoiler and I really recommend to play this game blind and let yourself surprise what the game has in store for you next. The game has 7 chapters each looking a bit different but every chapter is looking beautiful in its own way. The animal you control is really well animated and it makes fun running and jumping around or using some of the other abilities that you will unlock while playing. Everything is animated with love and it is simply fun to look at it and enjoy the atmosphere and the setting while looking for the next colectible or story event which is also fully voiced and I enoyed the voice over as well. The story itself is really emotional and touching. Add to this the amazing score that fits the game like a glove and makes it even better. This is actually one of the few soundtracks I immediately purchased here on GOG after I've finished the game.
