Crouching Woman, Hidden Wang.
"You want to wash Wang? Or you want to watch Wang wash wang?" It's full of weird lines like that lol. If you like the Duke 3DBlood era of Build Engine fps then you should get this, especially if you missed it somehow. It is not the last game released on the Build Engine (Redneck Rampage and NAM came after) but it runs the most advanced version of the Build Engine. Just my opinion, but this feels like an actual sequel to Duke 3D, the spirit of that style of fps is intact: leading edge tech (for its time of course) combined with strong characterattitude and fun! It really feels like the developers had fun with their tech during this era. The attitude of the developers reflected a 'sequel' mentality too, George Broussard in 1996: "We want Shadow Warrior to surpass Duke Nukem 3D in features and gameplay and that's a TALL order." In my opinion they certainly matched and even beat Duke 3D in areas. The weapons are seriously heavy; from Katanas and Quad Barreled Riot Shotguns (yep, that's QUAD BARRELED!) to Nuclear warheads, the game just has a ridiculous arsenal. There's also naked anime girls to find hidden throughout the levels! Some people might find the Asian stereotypes offensive, but I feel Shadow Warrior makes fun of the cinema stereotypes people like Bruce Lee worked hard to expose. It's making fun of Western cinema's representation of Asia, not of Asian culture itself. It's certainly not a game that would be made these days however lol. Politically incorrect, sexist, violent; it's a game that would make those daytime tv mothers' heads explode. If your a fan of fps games from the 90s era and aren't easily offended, I highly recommend Shadow Warrior; great little piece of fps history to play.
