A mess of a DLC
Twice the price of the last one, not even a fraction as good. Here's what you get: -Two "pre-made" prisons that are asthetically and functionally an absolute mess. Plus, what's with Alcatraz being connected by a road? -Island prisons. Except prisoners can just "swim away", and apparently anyone can just boat over and throw contraband on your isolated island. So really water does nothing but look pretty, and prevent your staff from walking on it. -Multi-island logistics are completely broken. Having your canteen, kitchens, laundry, cells on different islands? Your prisoners will riot and starve. Kitchens just won't service canteens on another island. -The new special intake (helicopter/boat) is completely broken. Released prisoners will never leave or be recorded. Visitors will come in where you explicitly, manually disallowed. Trash will never get picked up. -The new scanners are terrible at detecting contraband. Yes, they are connected and manned. They just don't work. -The new security checkpoint works... BUT, every "clean" prisoner they check, is an unnecessary search which increases your prison heat. You'll always gain massive heat, even at a relatively safe and happy prison, when using checkpoints. ...And that's it. There's really nothing good I can say about this DLC. Mabye some of the objects look neat? I can make nicer prison parks? Even that's stretching it. ALL the features are broken, which is such a pity for a $10 DLC.
