Planetary Dustoff

The game has serious potential. It's bascially a bullet hell game with randomly generated maps. You're mission is to find a habitable planet, and while you're shooting and searching you'll find better weapons and powerups and coins to bring back to the station to upgrade stuff. The foundation is certainly here to be a very good roguelike game. The powerups are interesting along with the guns. Each gun uses a different type of ammunition: lazer, bullet, etc. The game is challenging (haven't beat it yet.) and addicting even with what's here so far, which is a decent amount of content, enough for you to see the potential this game has. I can easily see this game being another Binding of Isaac or better.

I didn't expect Sonic but your dude moves slow. Real slow. I found two pairs of boots that, allegedly, make you faster and I couldn't tell any difference. There shouldn't even remotely be as many bullets on the screen for a game where you're so agonizingly slow. Adding to the feeling of being in molasses your weapons fire very slowly for the most part. If you give me a weak laser pistol with a tiny magazine, at least make me fire it faster than a pump-action shotgun. Relic Hunters Zero mops the floor with this game and is entirely free. Planetary Dustoff is in Early Access right now and I'll check back when it's done to see if it improves. For now, the stiff and slow gameplay turn me off.

I enjoy twin-stick shooters, but this one didnt grab me.
