I'm happy games like these exist
This is an adorable, but very short game. The cute art style and music give it a rather unique atmosphere. There is basically no text in the game. The whole story is being narrated through quirky animations, which fit perfectly in the theme of the game. The game is simple. All items you find and the pilgrims that venture around with you are being represented by cards. When you enter a location you choose one of your characters, who will then interact with the location and the characters based on the cards in your inventory. You can try out different combinations of items and characters, because often you will get some very funny and unexpected results. I played through the game twice in 1.5 hours. You can play maybe another couple times to get different variations of the events. Subsequent playthroughs will not take as long though, since you have already seen all locations and know your way through the story (though there still might be some surprises left). There are achievements for the different variations of events. You can peek at not yet unlocked achievement cards, which will show you a blurry image, which gives a hint how to get them. (Don't look at the achievements in the Galaxy client though, since the picture and text of not yet unlocked achievements give away a little bit too much for my liking.) I'm happy games like these exist. The art style, music and humor make it a rather unique experience. You'll probably get about 2h of entertainment out of it, which at least for me is fine at that price point.
