Paquerette Down the Bunburrows

Well, since there isn't any other review yet, I'll write my first one. I'll preface it with my conclusion for those of you who don't have the time : it's good ! The game mechanics, though extremely simple, make for a collection of puzzles of great variety and keep me wanting for more. Concerning the difficulty, I'd say the game becomes rapidly challenging but in a very friendly way. The solutions feel more clever and astute than overwhelmingly complex. There aren't any hints, but putting some effort makes finding the solution all the more satisfying, right ? Though there are names for all the puzzles, which I really like, and it actually inspired me in finding the solution more than once... so a kind of hints. The art is nice, so is the music. I played it in my native language (french), and the texts are also worth quite a lot of peanuts. The amount of content is much greater than I expected so it is definitely worth the full price. Overall, I whole-heartedly recommend it. Even, if it isn't normally your type of game, you might be surprised how the adorable and soothing art style draws you in. Cheers !

From its beautiful NeoGeo Pocket Color aesthetic and amazing chiptune music, down to it's simple yet addictive gameplay, Paquerette Down the Bunburrows will never cease to amaze and satisfy logic puzzle fans. Adorable buns will always move in a prescribed way based on their surroundings and how they are approached, but the level designs, game mechanics, and Paquerette's abilities keep things fresh and exciting thoroughout. Some of the puzzles can be deceptively difficult, but thankfully, you're allowed to skip problematic bunnies and move on until you're ready to try again.
