Good but much easier then spain
Spain was hard for me, because i hated the allied ai and the prestige sharing. (this game is about control, not about ai fools that suck tactically and steal my ressources) This dlc is good, but sooooo easy, if you only go for base victory. Play it at high diff, with neg traits and go for bonus vic always. Then its much better. Poland is a little disappointing. The big maps are good, the small ones are ok. One map is a little crazy, because you fight soviets, and nobody seems to care about the political consequences. So out of a story point it makes absolutely no sense. Bzura is fun, warshaw lacks some good scripts (many polish do nothing, you can simply bypass them), otherwise it would be good. The french scenarios are very interesting, but you fight here ag. an superior enemy. (charle b tanks butcher your pz35,38) And afterwards you have the much weaker polish, that have absolutly no chance ag. captured chales b, or pz3. The axis operations have a serious balancing problem. The first finnish scenario is super boring, just position your core well, and slaughter the attacker one by one. The second is a bigger defensive scenario, which i liked. Denmark is between the two finnish scenarios: good map, boring enemys. The dlc lacks new textures and art, spain was much better in that regard. But this dlc is cheaper then spain, so its ok. Oh and no allied ai in this dlcs, for gods sake. If you like pc2, buy the dlcs. When they open modding to a wider community, this dlcs will be reworked and rebalanced. (more polish maps, better balancing, partisans) If its too expensive for you, then wait till all dlcs are released and buy them all tog. in a sale. But my opinion is, that 9 Euros is affordable for everybody on the northern hemisphere of our planet.
