Excellent series for kids.
Don't listen to the negative reviews. My sons played these games years ago when they were first released, and enjoyed them so much that they now want them for their future kids. My 25 year old went back and played them again recently, just to reminisce. These games (including the first) were very well made with children in mind. The puzzles are logical, and my sons were able to beat the games by themselves when they were very young. (4 to 6 years old, if I remember right.) These are hunt "hunt for the magic pixel" games, but if your child does explore the screens, they will often be rewarded with little surprises. There are many little games built into the main adventures, and the sounds and voice acting is generally well done across the board. These games won numerous awards, and there's a reason for that; they're excellent. Definitely a must-buy!
